Family fishing and archery at Colorado Youth Outdoors The sun is shining, the ponds have fish, and the archery course looks like fun. Both children and adults will be enjoying all that CYO has to offer. We have people on the ponds, at the 3-D archery range and some are just enjoying the scenery and the weather. On this outing we were joined by a group from the Colorado School of Mines who were there to learn and advance adaptive equipment that will help with fishing, archery, and shooting sports. Everyone is having a great time catching fish, hiking and slinging arrows. It's getting close to lunch time and the participants are gathering at the outdoor pavilion which overlooks one of the ponds. We were treated to lasagna, salad and cake pops from our friends at the Ranch West 40 restaurant in Lakewood. After lunch, it's back to the ponds and archery. It's been a great day and a huge thanks to CYO, all the volunteers, Craig hospital staff, Colorado School of Mines, Ranch West 40, and organizations that participated.
