SCI Denver Chapter Colorado Youth Outdoors Windsor, Colorado It’s our first family fishing, archery and barbecue outing of the season. We have Vets from Operation TBI, Freedom Hunters, WyCo and families from Craig and Children’s Hospital, about 125 people with volunteers and staff. We have archery and fly fishing instructors, rafts that can take wheelchairs, Argo’s and prizes at lunch. It is also the annual Denver SCI Chapter members meeting and they are here to see our humanitarian outreach program in action. It is a beautiful day and people head over to the many ponds, all full of fish; others head to the 3-D archery course. Children and adults are enjoying CYO’s fantastic grounds. Some of the ponds have docks which is great for wheelchairs and certain disabilities. At 12:00 we gather everyone up for a great lunch and introductions to all of the non-profits we are hosting today. Then it is back to the fishing and archery. Everyone has had a wonderful time!
